Mahmoud A-Sadeq

Mahmoud was born in Majdal A-Sadeq in Palestine in 1945. He received his BA in Fine Arts from Baghdad University in 1970. He later received his Masters degree from the University of South Carolina and his PhD in the Philosophy of Art from Florida Southern University in 1983. Mahmoud taught art and participated in several art projects in the major universities in Jordan thoughout his career. He is one of the founding members of the League of Plastic Artists in Jordan. He received several prizes for his art work and has published several books on Jordanian Art. He participated in over 40 solo and group exhibitions in Jordan and internationally.

Mahmoud is currently the Dean of the School of Fine Arts at Al-Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan.
