Samar Ghattas

SAMAR GHATTAS studied fine arts and graphic design for 7 years in the Ukraine, thereafter she returned to her homeland Bethlehem, Palestine where she has been a lecturer in fine arts at the University of Bethlehem for the past 10 years till present.

Her art work was displayed in various exhibitions through Palestine Europe and the U.S.A

As an upcoming Palestinian artist, Samar hopes to continue showing her work in different venues through the Palestinian areas and outside.

Samar's Art is unique in many aspects being one of a few  Palestinian woman artists; Samar is able to merge the Palestinian culture and its social issues through her personal experience and point of view.

Her art focuses on the use of water color in portraying her ideas and subjects.

Her main goal is to help people understand the Palestinian life and its various dimensions.

Since 2004 Samar is using a new media in Digital  Editing  where she did an innovative

theme where she merged human character with nature in a unique  way .
