Baha Al-Bukhari

Al-Bukhari's family left Jerusalem to Syria in 1949. Later he moved from Syria, to Kuwait, Tunisia, and back to Jerusalem in 1994.

 

Al-Bukhari is a political cartoonist who has worked for several newspapers in the Arab World.

Al-Bukhari brought to life one of the favorite couples in the history of Arab caricature: Abu Al Abed and Um Al Abed.

 

Al Bukhari published a book of cartoons in 1985 that included 400 caricatures. He has also produced several Jerusalem oil paintings.
