Salam was born in
Tamra, a Palestinian town in the Galilee, in 1979. He started
his art studies under the supervision of the Palestinian
artist Ibrahim Hijazi. He then received his degree in Fine
Art & Education at Oranim Academy College - Tiva'on
in 2002. He is a member of Ibdaa’, the Association
of Palestinian Artists in Israel. Salam participated in
several solo and group art exhibitions locally and internationally.
He recently received the Creation Encouragement and Excellence
prizes from Oranim College.
Salam currently lives in Tamra and
teaches art in Nazareth and Majd Al-Kuroum.
