Samia Taktak Zaru

Taktak was born in Nablus in 1938. She received an Education Diploma from the American University of Beirut in 1958. Between 1958 and 1961, she did her post-graduate studies in the Corcoran School of Art and the American University in Washington D.C. In 1964.

 

Taktak studied under sculptor Basbous and attended Art Education Specialist UNESCO/ UNRWA Seminars in Beirut, Lebanon.

 

Taktak has held several solo exhibitions in Beirut, Amman, London & Washington D.C.

Taktak currently lives and works in Amman, Jordan.
